About Us

South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SLNRC) is South London’s community space for all. Located within the premises of South London Community Centre, the SLNRC offers programs and services for all ages including Family and Parent Programs, Youth Council and Youth Programs, Basic Needs and Support, Cooking Groups and Adult Programming, Well Baby Clinics, Early Years Playgroups, Volunteer Opportunities, Summer Camps and Programming, Seniors Groups and Activities, and Newcomer Settlement Services.

Everyone is welcome here.

SLNRC programs and services are offered to South London residents at low or no cost. These include:

Families First CAPC

Our goal is to strengthen and support families with children newborn to 6 years. Families First is a Community Action Program for Children funded by The Public Health Agency of Canada and sponsored by the City of London.

Basic Needs Support

We provide families in need with access to emergency food, infant formula and diapers. We offer referrals, advocacy and support with other basic needs as well as support with funding for  child and youth sports and recreation through the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program.

Youth belong here. We support our Youth Centre Council, a variety of recreational, fun and leadership programs, advocacy and support, and volunteer opportunities.

Newcomer Settlement Services

We provide newcomers to London with information and orientation, community connections, workshops for newcomers, and settlement services at Jalna Branch Library (LSP) and designated schools (SWIS).
