SLNRC programs and services are offered to South London residents at low or no cost. These include: |
Preschool: Families First CAPC (Young Mom’s Group, Women’s Support Program,Baby Food Bank) as well as Family Movie Nights and Drop-in Play Programs. |
Youth: Youth Centre Council, tutoring, Girls’ Program, Youth Chefs, Advocacy and Support, Empowering Youth through Volunteering, Westminster Youth Council and Youth Engaging in Society (YES). |
Adults: English classes for immigrants, THAW, Free Tax Clinic, Neighbourhood Access (Basic Cooking, Integrated Sports Drop-In). |
Seniors: Empowerment through Volunteering (Friday Soup, International Computer Classes). |
Newcomer Settlement Services: provide newcomers with information and referral to various services, Job Search Workshops (JSW), basic computer training, Settlement Services in Jalna Branch Library (LSP) and Settlement Services in Schools (SWIS).
